My Artistic Practice
My artistic practice is based on the exploration of color and texture. I seek expressiveness and experimentation both on and off the canvas, alternating between defined and blended strokes. I do not strive for exact realism but rather a visual interpretation where the paint itself takes center stage.
My work is inspired by nature, from landscapes based on my photographs to sunflowers in nonexistent colors. I am fascinated by transforming reality through pigments and shapes, creating a vibrant atmosphere. I also depict faces using bold outlines and unusual colors—a way to honor loved ones in a caricature-like style.
Color is the central axis of my work. In landscapes, I don’t replicate the photograph but rather reinterpret it. Sunflowers have become an obsession; the fusion of pigments in each brushstroke captivates me. My portraits aim to capture the essence of people through a playful visual language.
My pieces consist of simple strokes that allow for a fluid and spontaneous reading of the composition. I work with acrylics, watercolors, and gouache on canvas and paper. My process varies depending on the inspiration of the moment—sometimes I plan, other times I improvise. Each piece seeks to connect with the viewer’s emotions through color and texture.
I invite you to explore my portfolio and immerse yourself in my world of colors and shapes. Let each piece speak to you in its own way!
